THE HOHOHOLIDAY 5K IS THE MOST FESTIVE FUN RUN IN CANADA!
This 5km run/walk combines the magic of the Holidays with community engagement and fitness. Be apart of a holiday movement and join 10,000 Santa’s virtually across Canada who are spreading cheer in their local community while supporting Make-A-Wish Canada®.
Each registration includes a Santa suit, finishers medal (turns into an ornament), holiday treat, timing app, and shipping. This is a fun and active way for families and friends to come together, dress up as Santa and celebrate the Holidays in a meaningful way... And oh ya, this is a FUN RUN so you can take your time, set a new world record, walk it, or jog it...Just make sure to take a picture of you and your crew in that awesome Santa suit #HoHoHoliday5k.
HOW IT WORKS
Once you have registered, a registration pack full of goodies including your Santa Suit will be shipped to your doorstep (shipments will begin mid November in order of registration date).
During the registration process, you can choose to create a personal fundraising page to raise funds for Make-A-Wish® Canada or you can make a donation to help grant life-changing wishes to children with critical illnesses.
Your 5K Run/Walk can be completed anytime in the month of December.
Participate by yourself or with a group. Check out our discounted rate for Santa Squads!
You can plot your own 5K course map wherever you like — in your neighbourhood, on a trail, or at the gym on a treadmill.
Run it or walk it! You can go at your own pace this is a FUN run.
Track your time. We have partnered with Runkeeper for those Santas that like to know their stats.
Prizes will be awarded for best photo, top fundraisers, fastest Santa's, most festive group and best dressed pet using #hohoholiday5k!

FAQ
How do I receive my registration pack/Santa Suit?
Your registration package (Santa Suit, tattoo, Medal & Holiday Treat) will be shipped in order of registration date, beginning mid November. Shipping is included in your registration fee. Registrations placed after Dec. 10, 2023, are not guaranteed to arrive by Dec. 25 (with the exception of Ontario locations, a later cut off date of Dec. 13th). Shipping only within Canada.
Does the HoHoHoliday 5K align with any charities?
Yes! For the 4th year, we have partnered nationally with Make-A-Wish Canada. HoHoHoliday 5K is a great opportunity for families to help other families in need. Together, we aim to help grant some truly inspirational wishes for children in communities across the country.
What size are the Santa suits?
Santa Suits are available in kids (size 8 and under) and adults (one size fits all) - For a better fit while running or walking, you may need to make some slight adjustments or alterations to your Santa suit prior to your projected event day. Don’t be afraid to make any necessary changes - the suit is yours to keep!
We are excited to once again partner with Make-A-Wish®️ Canada to help raise funds to grant life-changing wishes across Canada. To date, we’ve raised almost $300,000 for Make-A-Wish Canada through our important national partnership.
Every hour, three new children are facing critical illnesses. A wish plays an integral part of a child’s treatment journey with research showing children who have a wish granted can build the physical and emotional strength they need to fight their illness. Make-A-Wish Canada’s goal is to bring every eligible child’s wish to life, and across the country, there are thousands of wishes waiting to be granted.
When you help grant a wish, you give a gift that keeps on giving. Your support brings hope to children and their families for a better day, and creates positive, lasting memories. Together, you can make an impact in helping to grant wishes across Canada and in your community.
No purchase necessary. Open to age of majority residents of Canada. Contest begins October 12, 2023, at 12:00 am MST and closes on December 31, 2023, at 11:59 pm MST. Full rules and entry details at WestJet Gift of Flight Rules & Regulations. One (1) prize available (ARV: $4,240 CAD each). The prize consists of one voucher that is valid for one (1) round-trip flight for two (2) guests to any scheduled WestJet destination* (restrictions apply). The voucher has an estimated potential retail value of $4,240 CAD (no cash value), although the actual value will depend on the destination chosen and time of booking from originating city.
